C4 is just a type of explosive. We have made up a ton of different names for C4 before dismissing the idea of actually naming what the C stands for.

We did have ideas for the naming however. For example:
Canadians Creating Crafty Cosplays
Cosplay Creations Central Canada
Comic Con Cosplays Canada
Etc.

In the end we decided not to have a meaning behind it and just keep a short and sweet C4 Explosive as our name.

Individually the group of us have started cosplaying around 2010 - 2012. We have been cosplaying together or as an un-named group since 2016.

Some of us have started just to do costumes that we dont normally see at conventions. To others just making the biggest and standoutish costumes we could.

Please share our projects on your social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, tiktok, etc. Tell your friends and ask them to tell their friends! Tell anyone you know who loves cool stuff. This is our biggest & boldest undertaking building these in the first place. Hmm… the verdict’s still out on this one, but there’s a pretty simple way you could solidify your awesome status. ;)

This is a hard question to answer.

Yes: We do take commisions for large costumes and props. If you have a project or prop you would like made or to sponsor please check our sponsors page. Our finished projects are the result of a team of people working hundreds of hours combined with an equally high investment in material expenses.

No: If you're looking for a costume to wear for your next convention check out these marketplaces (Ex. Amazon.com, Cosplaysupplies.com, spirithalloween.com, Etc) or Try your hand at making your own costumes. The experience is well worth it.

Some of our costumes and props we will have on sale in very limited quanities. Our Costumes and props will be listed on the project pages and in the shop when available. We do not have a factory to mass produce anything. Everything is custom made.

This is dependant on the costume. We don't make massively popular costumes. Things that are readily available from other creators or actual products.

Things like Star Wars Costumes, Master Cheif, Nintendo, Disney Princesses,  Metroid, Marvel, Overwatch, or Animes.

Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping timedepends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
●USA: 3–4 business days
●Europe: 6–8 business days
●Australia: 2–14 business days
●Japan: 4–8 business days
●International: 10–20 business days

Our fulfillment times merch may be longer than usual and maycontinue to increase until things get back to normal. We're seeing delays in our supply chain,including distributors and shipping carriers as the entire industry is grappling with challenges.

We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide!

Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:

● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package
● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at yourneighbor’s, get in touch with us via our Contact Us page with your order number.

If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost.

We don’t offer returns and exchanges on merch, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us
